Machining a Royal Oak case and bracelet entirely in ceramic is one of the harder things Audemars Piguet does, since every facet and bevel has to be cut and polished in a material far harder than steel. In blue, the result reads as one continuous tone from bezel to clasp, with the Grande Tapisserie dial and matching counters carrying the colour through. This Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ref. 26579CS.OO.1225CS.01 shows day, date, week, month, leap year and an astronomical moon phase, all driven by the self-winding Calibre 5134 in a case just 9.5 mm thick. Unworn, 2024, and complete with box and papers.
