The red ombré dial deepens from a bright red centre to near-black edges, a gradient effect that gives this smaller Datejust considerably more presence than its 31mm size suggests. Ref. 278278 is cased entirely in yellow gold, running on Calibre 2236. Brand new, complete with box and papers. It's fitted to the matching yellow gold President bracelet, Rolex's most formal bracelet reserved for its dressier references.
