October 14th 2014 witnessed the unveiling of a wrist watch to celebrate Patek Philippe's 175 anniversary. Enthusiasts, collectors and the wider watch community leaned towards a maginificent pocket watch. We did not get a pocket watch. Instead, Patek Philippe revealed a sizeable, ornately engraved, and highly complicated wristwatch with not one but two dials! Five different striking chimes, 20 complications and 1,580 components certainly make this a Grandmaster of a timepiece.
