We often think of the newcomers to a brand’s collection. But it’s often the case that a discontinued model tugs the emotional heart strings. The Patek Philippe 5980/1R is one such model. First introduced in 2013, the Ref. 5908/1R, with its black fume dial and full rose gold case and bracelet made an immediate impact and was one of the most desirable Nautilus pieces in the collection. Patek discontinued the model in 2024 along with several other variations of the Ref. 5980.The 5980/1R remains an icon in both design and functionality and we are please to offer this new and unworn piece from the final year of its production run.
